Art and Theater Safety Workshop

On Friday, September 26, 2008, we are sponsoring an Art and Theater Safety Workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Plymouth State University. The Art and Theater Safety Workshop will feature Monona Rossol, M.S., M.F.A., Industrial Hygienist, Arts, Crafts & Theater Safety (A.C.T.S). The following topics will be discussed: art and theatrical paints, textiles and dyes, wood, metals, ceramic and printmaking chemicals, theatrical fog and pyrotechnic chemicals, and more. Slides will be shown of safety equipment and ventilation systems from universities, craft shops, and professional theaters. Bring questions about the materials and equipment you use.
